31081 5-Bromo-6-chloro-3-indolyl alpha-D-mannopyranoside
Chromogenic substrate producing insoluble magenta colour; an alternative to X-mannopyranoside.
31094 5-Bromo-6-chloro-3-indolyl phosphate disodium salt
Water soluble phosphatase substrate producing an insoluble magenta coloured precipitate after hydrolysis. Useful as an alternative to the water-insoluble p-toluidine salt form and also to X-phosphate.
31180 5-Bromo-6-chloro-3-indolyl beta-D-ribofuranoside
Chromogenic substrate producing an insoluble magenta colour; an alternative to X-ribofuranoside. Covered by US Patent 7,323,488 and by European Patents 1436411 and 1438424.
70094 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl phosphate disodium salt [X-Phos disodium salt]
Water-soluble phosphatase substrate. Very useful as a replacement for the water-insoluble and toxic p-toluidine salt form of X-Phos [CAS No. 6578-06-9].
01094 5-Bromo-3-indolyl phosphate disodium salt [Blue-Phos disodium salt]
Water-soluble phosphatase substrate. Gives a darker blue end product than X-Phos.
01180 5-Bromo-3-indolyl beta-D-ribofuranoside
Chromogenic substrate producing an insoluble dark blue colour; an alternative to X-ribofuranoside. Covered by US Patent 7,323,488 and by European Patents 1436411 and 1438424.

29064 6-Chloro-4-methylumbelliferyl beta-D-glucuronide [CMUG]
Substrate showing superior performance over MUG (Product code 44064) when used for the detection of beta-glucuronidase producing E.coli in short-term assays. Compared with MUG, CMUG gives a much higher fluorescence with positive strains after 7h incubation.
87045 6-Chloro-4-trifluoromethylumbelliferyl beta-D-galactopyranoside [CTU-Gal]
Substrate which exhibits longer absorption/emission maxima (~385/500 nm) than 4MU-derived substrates (~365/450 nm). May be beneficial when levels of endogenous fluorescence in the sample preclude the use of 4MU-substrates.
